It's small, it's lightweight, it's ergonomically shaped and it records your cardio pulmonary data without compromise. Our Cardio Pulmonary Screener offers the most convenient way available today for you and your patient to obtain reliable data.
The 15-channel Vitaport Cardio-Pulmonary Screener first of all measures all signals related to Sleep-Disordered-Breathing. It offers SpO2 and Pulse, built-in Nasal Pressure with derivated snoring and CPAP channels, 2 Respiratory Inductive Plethysmography (or piezo) belts, a thermo-couple for Flow, a body-position sensor, an extra serial port for connection of an external PCO2 or CPAP device and a built-in marker. Additionally, there are 3 ExG amplifiers aboard the CPS for piezo-electrical Snore, for an Activity sensor, for ECG or EMG/ EOG. With this, the pulmonary data set can even be complemented with a 3 channel ECG holter.
With the Vitaport CPS, you get a high-quality and versatile screening instrument. The amplifiers aboard the Vitaport CPS are designed to couple minimal noise and 50/60 Hz humble to maximal bandwidth and dynamic range, digitized with 16 bit resolution. This is mandatory to enable undistorted and noise-free capture of the nasal pressure and effort signals and to cope with the demands of in-home recording.

Analysis
The Vitascore software has been designed for easy, efficient scoring and reporting of Pulmonary recordings. The Workflow-Management system is designed to give you full control on the various steps in the route of a study through the lab.
Based on the Chicago 1999 recommendations, the Cardio-Pulmonary analysis yields a pre-detection of respiratory, cardio and PLM events. Additional, quantitative traces such as heart rate, pulse-transition time, continuous phase angle between Chest and Abdomen, 'Ventilation' (that is the position-dependent calibrated SUM of Chest and Abdomen times the instantaneous breath rate), and the harmonic distortion of the Nasal Pressure signal as a measure for flow limitation (see traces in the upper 8 hour window). After you have finished your manual re-score, the report generator provides reports according to your own customized templates.
