TRIPS, the first affordable and small inductive plethysmography system for everyone!

The TEMEC Respiratory Inductive Plethysmography System (TRIPS) system provides you with the high quality inductive plethysmography in an extremely small,versatile and ambulatory unit. Known for its highest accuracy and best signal quality, the TRIPS now can be used with every standard EEG or Polygraphy unit. By using it for both thorax and abdomen, a high quality phase shift measurement can be accomplished in an incredible easy way.
TRIPS is powered by 2 very low cost hearing aid batteries and works on these 24 hours continuously. The construction of this sensor is very small and lightweight, which even allows you to use it ambulatory in an extremely patient friendly way.

Output signal:
The output signal is generated to be used by almost any EEG recording machine. The sensor generates an AC signal on EEG level. The sensor can be used with all belt sizes available.

• Sensitivity: 0,1mV/mm depending upon the type and extent of movement
• Frequency range: 0.3Hz - 30Hz
• LP filter: 30Hz
• Time constant: 0.6 sec. or higher
• Connector: DIN 42802 Touch Proof connectors

Depending on the results you can adjust the settings to have a maximum signal output.
